Yesterday I was privileged to be working for Steven Fallon Mountain Guides in the most glorious weather, assisting George 'compleat' his final munro on An Teallach, a campaign that had taken him more than 30 years. Thanks again John and Steven. I don't quite know how it came to be that An Teallach was my last munro, but I have no regrets. It couldn't have been a better day in every way and leaving the very best mountain in Scotland till last has whetted the appetite for more. So be it for plans to get my golf handicap down. So pleased that Jenny was able to come, and so delighted to be accompanied to the top by John and Steven. A pretty perfect day!
